Probably the most notable Final Fantasy character design, the black mage was always interesting and fun to play as...but ignore the fact that he looks like Orko from He-Man fame.
I kind of changed the design, but barely. I decided to add some shoes (for one thing), and I added a fancy rope belt to help distinguish where the upper body and lower body are seperated. This one was a bit more fun to make than the Fighter, as I decided to put him in a position other than a regular, standing pose. Black Mage is ready to cast a fiery spell...and look, the flames are animated! I hardly ever animate sprites, so it's a big deal for me. It's a cheezy animation, but meh.
