I have about 10 minutes before I start Web Design so I'll just spew some madness.

-Web Design is going well. It's pretty easy so far and I'm actually having some fun making websites. Well, more so that layouts and stuff. Once I came across the simple idea of using Photoshop for the designs and stuff, things got interesting.
-This also lead me to realize just how little digital work I have done in the past....well, year. I have done a few things, but none of it is worthwhile. Thanks to the club I'm in, I found a few video tutorials about how to properly edit scanned images as well as some shading techniques. I will have to study these further on my own time so I may get familiar with it.
-A friend and I came to the conclusion that we were both sorely disappointed by the lack of digital painting classes their are at Parkside. We're opting to take an independent study together so that we may actually learn the things we want to learn. So, this includes making decent Photoshop works (or maybe using Sai or OpenCanvas), learning how to control the brushes and what not. Also, I have to get used to using keyboard commands while I'm working.
-If I recall, this means I may have to rethink how I graduate. Its very possible that I could graduate in May now, since the independent study is 4 credits, then I would only need one other class (probably Digital Illustration), Senior Show and Senior Seminar. However, I think I will still opt to just graduate next Fall. So, two classes next Spring and Senior Show and Seminar next fall. I've been attending this school for 5 years so another four months won't kill me.
-I had a completely random thought the other day. I remember, almost 6 years ago, I was going through some weird depressed state. It wasn't anything very serious. I was simply overreacting about a break-up I had. However, I did start expanding on my art back then (unfortunately, all of my digital work from that time is long gone). Further more, I remember playing video games (Dynasty Warriors 4 in particular) while blasting various music (Iron Maiden's "Brave New World" comes to mind). Despite being so sad and alone at the time, I was also happy. High school was cool like that. Of course, that stage of my life ended once a particular person was introduced to me. No regrets there
